Our photo booth is a great way to add some fun and excitement to any event. The Photo booth offers the ability to capture the moment and include your guests in the festivities.
Photo favors are a fantastic event keepsake that are great for Weddings, Grad Parties, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, Fundraisers and all other types of celebrations. It's fun for all ages.
We use high quality lab dye printers that produce professional photo prints, unlike ink jet printers that can smudge and look amateur. All clients have the ability to customize the photo images to include names, monogram, company logo, event date and layout.

Why should we select you for our photo booth service?
We are a small local family owned photography business and we offer a very nice booth at competitive rates with exceptional customer service. The booth is attractive and fun to use, it will fit into a small area, was made by hand for our company by a pioneer in the photo booth rental business and we use professional camera and printing equipment. Equally important is the fact that we absolutely love what we are doing, that is being a part of your special event. We take pride in that you would trust us to be there on your special day. We may not have as many events under our belt as the big franchise rental companies, but my husband and I do have over 50 years combined experience in the client services field so we fully understand that our clients come first and that providing outstanding service is the most important part of what we do.
What do I need to secure a photo booth for my event?
We require a signed agreement and a $200 deposit.
Is my deposit refundable?
The deposit is fully refundable up to 45 days prior to your event. Within 44 days of your event, the deposit is non-refundable unless we are able to rebook your date.
What is the standard number of hours for renting the photo booth?
Our standard package includes four full hours of usage. However, we can create custom packages for whatever time best suits you and your event; however, this is primarily reserved for charity, school events and events that occur during the day or week days.
How does the photo booth work?
The process is very easy and fun! Guests simply step into the photo booth and press the red button to start the process. Once the button is pressed, the craziness begins! Guests will be instructed to get ready and then 4 or more photos will be taken based on the layout selected by the event host - the entire process takes only 60-90 seconds to complete. Guests will be able to view themselves on the monitor. After all the photos are taken, the guests will then be instructed to pick up their photo from the KloosPix attendant. Photos generally print in less than 20 seconds after the last photo is taken, making the process fast, which means your guests are in and out and can get back to the party!

What is the size of the booth?
The booth is 3 feet wide and 4 1/2 feet long. We only need approximately an 8x10 feet area to house the booth and our tables.
How much do the guests have to pay to enter the photo booth?
Guests pay nothing with our standard rentals.
How many sessions are possible in your photo booth?
You receive free, unlimited sessions throughout the course of your event rental. Each session takes about 80-90 seconds to complete, but the reality is people may slow this down a bit while they are having fun chatting about the booth. Our attendant will guide guests to move them along as quickly as possible while maintaining a high level of service to your quests. Most four hour rentals yield enough strips to completely fill the scrapbook.
How many guests can your booth accommodate?
Our booth is designed to be just large enough to squeeze in a group of 6-8 but still maintain a level of confinement that makes it feel like a true photo booth. A lot of the appeal of a photo booth is the “squeeze” factor.
Do we get our pictures immediately or do we have to wait and order them on-line after the event?
Each session is printed immediately. Free reprints of the strip are available upon request but must be printed before the next session. Our attendants try to ask the participants if they need additional copies as well.
How soon will the photos get posted on your website so my guests can view them?
Photos will become available for viewing between one and five days after the event at www.kloospix.com. The images will be posted in both the 4-image strip style and in single image form and will remain on-line for 60 days, or more if requested. The strip style can be downloaded for free and the individual image style can be purchased in a 4x6, 5x7 or 8x10 print form from our lab.
What is the print format that comes from your booth?
Our standard package includes two 2x6 strips from each session, one goes to the guest and one is placed in your memory book. Guests will be asked to sign the memory book near where their first photo strip taken is affixed. Different formats are available, depending on the event they may incur an additional charge; please let us know what you would like. We will try to accommodate any request.
What is the quality of the prints and videos?
We use a Canon 18 megapixel DSLR camera. Using a professional grade camera allows for the capture of really nice photos every time. We use a high quality dye sublimation printer, not an ink jet; our printer is the SonyUPDR200 Professional Photo Printer. Sony's dye sublimation print technology gives results that are long lasting and professional, while providing lab-quality photo printing. The printer will print four pictures in less than twenty seconds, cuts the prints to size and your guests get them right on the spot! Please note that when choosing the matte finish the images may take an additional 5-6 seconds to print versus the glossy print.
Besides the photos themselves, do you offer any other keepsakes for the guests?
Yes. Photos can be personalized with custom logos or a description of your event. Depending on the event we may package each photo in a crystal clear photo sleeve with on line viewing information affixed to the back. We can also offer acrylic frames and/or vinyl or magnet photo sleeves for an additional fee.
Are you available for outdoor events?
Yes. But we do require a covered area to be available in case of bad weather, such as rain, wind, etc.
Does the booth have an external monitor?
No, we have found that occasionally a guest may act inappropriately in the booth offending other guests so we chose not to provide this option.
Can we choose between black & white or color photos?
We let you decide in advance if you want B&W, sepia or color photos coming from the booth at your event. We will even allow you to change color formats during your event if you would like. However, we do not give the guests a choice within the booth. We have found that this just simply slows down the overall process and reduces your number of sessions.
Do you offer reprints on the spot for guests?
Yes, our standard print is one for the guests in the session. The works fine for married couples, but others may want an extra copy. If requested soon enough a reprint will be provided on the spot; also guests will be able to download copies of the strips for free from our website once posted.
Will there be someone from KloosPix at the event to make sure things are running smooth?
Absolutely, all rentals include a full-time booth attendant. They will make sure the booth is running properly, answer questions, provide tips, organize props, explain and encourage the scrapbook signing, etc.
Can the booth be set-up and ready to go prior to the start time of our event?
Yes, we will arrive 25-30 minutes prior to the start of the event to setup, this DOES NOT reduce your length of service. If you require something more, please discuss your needs with us.
Are there any travel fees?
Yes, but only if we must travel more than 10 miles from Fraser, Michigan; this fee will be negotiated at the time of booking.
Can I provide my own guest book?
Yes. If you would prefer something other than our standard book please let us know so we can swap it out; we will still assemble it for you. Please note that our standard size book is 12x12 so we will only have extra paper and sleeves on hand for that size book.
